We’ve all heard it before. Put your own oxygen mask on first.
Easy to say, but do you really do it? Every day? What do you do to put yourself first? Do you ask for what you want? What does your self-talk sound like?
Maybe today’s prompt will help! Write, paint, photograph or draw a valentine to yourself. What do you love about yourself? If that’s too hard, ask a friend or family member, “What’s something you love about me?”
Write it down. Savor the way it feels. Think about what you came up with or what you were told. Tuck that away in your heart for the rest of this month.
